Between July 7 to 11, IBEB hosted Dr Declan O’Loughlin as part of an ERASMUS+ mobility programme. Dr O’Loughlin is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Electronic and Electrical Engineering and a Principal Investigator at the Trinity Centre for Biomedical Engineering, Trinity College Dublin, Ireland.
Throughout the week, Dr O’Loughlin was integrated into IBEB’s Medical Microwave Imaging Lab, where he actively engaged in various research activities.
During his visit, he participated in lab meetings, shared ideas with researchers, contributed to experimental data collection, and took part in scientific discussions focused on potential future collaborations and research projects.
His visit represented an excellent opportunity to strengthen scientific cooperation between the two institutions, promoting knowledge exchange and the development of research synergies.
