A new paper has just been published on “Computers in Biology and Medicine”. The research focuses on using AI to predict Breast Cancer risk. This work was done by our PhD student João Mendes and by our undergraduates Bernardo Oliveira, Carolina Araújo, and Joana Galrão; under the guidance of IBEB’s professor Nuno Matela, and our colleague from LASIGE, Nuno C. IBEB’s researcher Daniela Godinho was awarded an Applied Sciences Travel Award to present her research work in the upcoming European Conference on Antennas and Propagation (EuCAP) which, in 2025, will take place in Stockholm, Sweden.
