PhD student Maria Gonçalves and members of IBEB Daniela Godinho and Raquel Conceição attended the 4th URSI Atlantic Radio Science Meeting in Gran Canaria, Spain.

Daniela Godinho presented two papers: “Impact of Antenna Configuration and Artefact Removal Algorithms for Axillary Microwave Imaging” (https://doi.org/10.46620/URSIATRASC24/DYHB1389) and “Repository of materials mimicking dielectric properties of biological tissues” (https://doi.org/10.46620/URSIATRASC24/CQOH2056).

Maria Gonçalves presented her paper “A preliminary study of the assessment of the cosmetic outcome of the breast after microwave ablation” (https://doi.org/10.46620/URSIATRASC24/NLLN7883).

Raquel Conceição chaired four special sessions: “K08: Biomedical applications of EMF: from diagnostic to therapeutic technologies (Part 1)”, “K08: Biomedical applications of EMF: from diagnostic to therapeutic technologies (Part 2)”, “KB1: Electromagnetic Biomedical Imaging (Part 1)” and “KB1: Electromagnetic Biomedical Imaging (Part 2)”.
