From October 8th to 11th, students from IBEB/FCUL participated in the 41st Scientific Meeting of the European Society of Magnetic Resonance in Medicine and Biology (ESMRMB 2025) in Marseille, France.

The following research projects were presented:

“MRI-Based 3D Modelling of the SOD1 Mouse”: Presented by PhD student Leonor de Oliveira Pires (Supervisor: Professor Sofia Fernandes).

“Tackling the challenge of improving the automated diagnosis of Autism spectrum disorders: assessing the potential of non-standard brain connectivity metrics, deconvolution approaches and machine learning classifiers for the analysis of intrinsic fMRI data”: Presented by PhD student Lucianna Lopes do Couto (Supervisor: Professor Alexandre Andrade).

“Partial Volume Effects across Tumor Regions in ASL Perfusion Imaging of Glioblastoma”: Presented by Master’s student Afonso Simões (developed under the “Bolsas Gulbenkian Novos Talentos” program, with LaSEEB).
