New paper published in Progress in Biomedical Engineering

A new paper has been published as a result of the Master’s dissertation work by student Tiago Silva, supervised by IBEB’s researchers Daniela Godinho and Raquel Conceição.

The paper, titled “Machine and deep learning applied to medical microwave imaging: a scoping review from reconstruction to classification“, was published in Progress in Biomedical Engineering by IOP Science. It presents a state-of-the-art review of the use of machine and deep learning for medical microwave imaging. By analysing the latest studies and methodologies, the review addresses the current state of machine learning-enhanced medical microwave imaging and sheds light on its potential for clinical applications.
