On October 3rd, IBEB welcomed the first-year students of the Bachelor’s Degree in Biomedical Engineering and Biophysics.
The visit began with an introduction to IBEB’s three main research lines, presented by coordinators and integrated members Alexandre Andrade, João Coelho, and Hugo Ferreira. Students then had the opportunity to explore the institute’s laboratories and research spaces, gaining a closer look at the technologies and methods used in ongoing projects. The event concluded with engaging presentations by professors and integrated members Nuno Matela, Raquel Conceição, Sofia Fernandes, and Tânia Gonçalves, who shared insights into their research and the exciting work being developed at IBEB.
It was a pleasure to welcome the new students and share with them the research being carried out at IBEB!
