3 FCT grants awarded to IBEB’s researchers

IBEB has been granted 3 projects by FCT from 2 calls. Dr Brígida Ferreira and Dr Diana Prata were successful at the Exploratory Projects in All Scientific Domains 2024 call with projects: “RObust Biological trEatment planning in Radiation TherApy for pancreatic cancer” (ROBERTA) (in the Bioengineering and Biotechnology Panel) and “Dopamine-oxytocin interplay in human social learning: a double pharmaco-neuroimaging study” (DOXYSOCIAL) (in the Psychology Panel), respectively, with a budget of 60k€ each. Also, Dr Raquel Conceição was successful at the Advanced Computing Projects (5th ed) – A0 Experimental Access (round D) Call with project “Preliminary exploration of Deep-learning self-supervised pretraining strategies for Prostate MRI cancer characterisation” with an in-kind computational contribution valid for 12 months.
