The Institute of Biophysics and Biomedical Engineering will participate in two funded scientific research projects in the context of the applications submitted to Fundação para Ciência e Tecnologia.

One of them, led by the University of Aveiro, aims to build a small animal imaging system based on Positron Emission Tomography.

The other, led by the Champalimaud Foundation, aims to obtain biochemical and imaging biomarkers to assess the combat stress in people with cancer.
