Manuel Gomes Guerreiro Award to PhD student of IBEB

The “Manuel Gomes Guerreiro Award” was unanimously awarded to João Pedro Almeida Meneses by the University of Algarve.

The awardee holds a PhD in Biomedical Engineering from the Faculty of Sciences of the University of Lisbon (2024), having started his career in this area with a master’s degree, also in Biomedical Engineering, at the University of Coimbra, in 2004.
