Since its establishment in Brittany in 1994, this school has become a worldwide reference. It is an open yet privileged place for exchanges and discussions of major on-going work. Informal and warm, at a location where the sea and the land combine in a time varying relation, this school brings together, every other year for ten days, the world great teachers and researchers in Biomedical Imaging.
The 2016 edition will feature Tim Cootes (UK), Michael Liebling (USA), Jean-François Mangin (FR), Andrew Reader (UK), Carolina Whälby (Sweden), and Rebecca Willett (USA) on various topics where a very active research is conducted.
The industrial lecture will be given by José-Luis Moctezuma (Striker) and workshops will be organized by Marcel Lüthi (Switzerland), Fabrice de Chaumont (FR) and Stéphane Dallongeville (FR).
A Junior lecture will be delivered by a participant to the previous School, to be selected.
The number of attendees (traditionally coming from more than 25 countries all over the world) is strictly limited (45) and applications must be submitted as early as possible (the deadline being February 20th, 2016). An international committee will select the candidates by March 15. Participants are encouraged to present their research work through Posters.
